Catching some pow in Idaho: Sledding Edition
I know, I know, I said last night in my entry that that was going to be the last one until 2016 when I returned from Guatemala. But, I guess I lied. Today, taking a break from moving and unpacking we decided to do a last minute sledding afternoon adventure and enjoy some of the amazing pow we've been getting for two-weeks straight.
So we all suited up after nap time and a mid afternoon cereal break and went off to catch some bunny slopes, snail speeds and an awful good time. It was short lived as it get's dark here by 4:30 still, but what time we did get out there was totally worth it. And may I say my kiddos in snow gear has to be one of my favorites.
Getting out and adventuring with my kids is my absolute favorite. I know I always say on here to go out and adventure with purpose, but I absolutely mean it. Yes there has been the occasional bug bite, sun burn, frost bite or skinned knee, but I can bet you almost anything that my kids wouldn't have given up the adventures they've been on for not having those minor hiccups.
I truly love my job as a maker and photographer, I also truly love my job as mom and being able to combine both loves makes my world and heart so full someday's I feel like it will bust.
So get out there - ADVENTURE WITH PURPOSE - and have an amazing and Happy New Year everyone!!!
