Well, this year, my daughter will not get to be home for thanksgiving and I was mopey and dopey and 10 other melancholy dwarves about this little detail. But then, in spirits of making this work, our family decided to host Thanksgiving in our abode a little early this year.
So last Sunday, we started the day super early, went out for a drive in the woods and then as the rain came in, we bunkered down at home to play puzzles, cook, and fill our abode with warmth and love. Now, I have to figure out what to do with the 20-lb turkey leftovers and another turkey to commence next week...oh boy.
Oh for the love of family.
