On a drizzling spring day along the Oregon Coast, I got to meet up with a friend I’d made over Instagram to capture her, her boyfriend and their sweet dog. We made a quick pit stop at a lumber mill to capture some intimate moments before finishing to drive to Devils Punch Bowl, a hot spot on the 101 Coastline, and it was sheer magic.
I’ve been on Instagram for years, but it’s very seldom that I actually get to meet the amazing creatives that I befriend through the gram. This last weekend, I got to meet Marlee (photographer of Ivory & Oak) and her sweet hubby Dan. I was instantly greeted by the fur baby, and knew right off the bat that I was in good company and up for a good time.
There really is something wonderful about making friends with fellow creatives, and something even more wonderful giving back to them (as we’re usually the one behind the camera versus in front). I mean my house hasn’t gotten updated photos of my whole family in at least three years…AND I”M A PHOTOGRAPHER GUYS!
