A Valentine Session: Lee
I'll admit there are some holiday's that I just don't quite fully understand. Valentine's day is one of them. Even when I got married, I still didn't find it to be a big ordeal, though, I know some women in my life who would argue the exact opposite.
Which is just fine, I find Halloween to be a big deal and most raise an eyebrow to that, so to each their own I suppose.
But since becoming a mother, I've actually started to enjoy this little sweetened holiday with making the cute little class valentine's, making heart shaped pancakes for breakfast, and finding it justifiable to eat brownies for dinner.
Little kids dressed up for Valentines Day is so precious, it will make a believer of the holiday out of anybody. This week I met with little 10-month old Lee for his Valentine session, and oh me goodness my.
He has mastered the blank stare and turned it into something adorable, I mean I was melting when he'd look at my like that. Of course the heart shaped balloons and all their shiny-ness were far more interesting then me with a big blocky thing just made a click sound.
I love working with kiddos because you can have a plan for what shots you want, and their going to bulldoze right over that notion and make it their own. And that attitude and authenticity makes for some of the most precious photos around.
Happy Thursday Everyone <3
